Bug
The arcpy.Exists() function returns true on feature classes existing in another workspace or in schemas within geodatabases in a PostgreSQL database. The function does not respect "arcpy.env.workspace" defined before.

Workaround
Do not use a long name like "prune.gisviewer.twiter", but shorter name like "twiter" returns false.
