Additional Information

The polyline geometry is missing a spatial_reference, it must be created as follows (or based on the spatial reference of the target feature class `poly = arcpy.Polyline(array, spatial_reference=arcpy.SpatialReference(4326))`. Problem with current script: The polyline geometry is created as follows: `poly = arcpy.Polyline(array)` Since no spatial_reference is specified, the geometry is created with UnknownSpatialReference which has a XYTolerance and resolution of 0.001 and 0.0001 respectively. The data is obviously WGS1984 data, and the XY tolerance value of 0.001 decimal degrees at the data's latitude is approximately 65 meters. The arcpy.da.InsertCursor simplifies the data (using XY tolerance) to insure data integrity. This matches pretty well with the output.
