The ArcGIS Survey123 website fails to calculate the sum of repeats, and this issue does not occur in the ArcGIS Survey123 app.

It is a known limitation. The sum() function does not work if it is inside a repeat.Workaround
- Move the question which uses the sum() calculation from inside to outside of a repeat.
- Use the sum() function outside a repeat and reference its value inside a repeat.
