The ArcGIS Survey123 report generation fails when the report template includes a map question referencing a data-dense map and returns the error message, "Failed to print map ... waiting for function failed: timeout 180000ms exceeded."

Workaround

  • Use a smaller map scale in the report template's map question settings.
