Workaround
Ensure the GNSS receiver is on the latest firmware and NMEA strings are enabled on the receiver. Ensure GNSS Direct does not have a connection to the device preventing ArcGIS Survey123 from establishing a connection. Refer to the website for the latest R1 firmware, https://www.trimble.com/globalTRL.aspx?nav=Collection-109385.
To enable NMEA strings:
- Open the GNSS Status app.
- Connect to the receiver in the app.
- Select the menu and select NMEA.
- Move all NMEA strings to Selected and save the settings.
- Remove the connection to the receiver from GNSS Direct and connect in ArcGIS Survey123.
