The version management service's delete operation (found in the Services Directory) is separate from the delete item operation (found in the Server Admin Directory) mentioned in this issue. The version management delete operation deletes a named version of a branched dataset for a version management service. The delete item operation, however, completely deletes an uploaded item and its configuration.Steps to Reproduce
