The ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.26 MapView is unresponsive when it is popped out onto an external window and the original window's document is hidden.

This is expected behavior based on the way the view is rendered in the window. It is not recommended to move the view into another window or container. Instead, the pop-out window should be created with its own dedicated JavaScript script that loads the API along with the view and communicates with the other window via postMessages: Refer to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Window/postMessage for more information.
