To get the ArcGIS Explorer add-in to update:
1. Close the current session of ArcGIS Explorer.
2. Invoke ArcGIS Explorer from the Start menu and close it once again. This causes the add-in to update.
3. Double-click the updated configuration file to start ArcGIS Explorer again, and click the Add-in button. The updated behavior of the add-in is exhibited.
