This issue is no longer reproducible in the new 25.2.0 version of ArcGIS Field Maps.Workaround
Modify the Arcade expression to calculate the value in meters, and then multiply the value by 3.28084 to get the value in feet.
var a = Round(LengthGeodetic($feature,"meter"),1)
var b = Round((a * 3.28084),1)
return b
