Additional Information
As there is a workaround, currently there are no plans to address this Business Analyst Desktop issue. In ArcGIS Pro there is an improved method to enrich point layer data. ArcGIS Pro 2.7 onwards, when using an online data source, use point layers with the Enrich Layer tool. The tool does not simply add block group level data to each point. The tool allows to enrich for a buffer (ring, drive time, etc.) of any size around each point and append the data to a new point layer. In the upcoming ArcGIS Pro 2.8 release, this can also be done when using local data sources.
Workaround
Perform a block group to point spatial join after adjusting field visibility to the four dominant tapestry variables.
