The Analyze tool using feature table option fails with the error message “Failed to analyze dataset. Column index not found," if the data is loaded to SDE geodatabase via Direct Connect.

This issue will not get addressed as it is not reproducible in later versions of SDE.Workaround
Copy/paste the data using arcSDE service connection. The Analyze tool runs successfully.Steps to Reproduce
