Unable to reproduce this issue at the latest version of the software. If you are still experiencing this issue, please contact Esri Support Services.

Workaround

Use the resolve overlap function on the mosaic dataset.
  1. Highlight the mosaic dataset in the Contents pane.
  2. Select the mosaic Layer. At the Data ribbon, select resolve overlap.
  3. Choose the function that works best for the given scenario.
