Workaround

The MapLayerInfo.FieldAliases property does return the valid field aliases:'Dim fldAlias As IEnumerator = NewMapLayerInfo.FieldAliases.GetEnumerator()'While fldAlias.MoveNext ' Console.WriteLine("Field Alias = " & fldAlias.Current.ToString())'End While
