Description

In the ArcGIS Pro Business Analyst Suitability Analysis workflow, selecting variables from a Statistical Data Collection in the Add Variable Based Suitability Criteria tool result in values of ‘0’ appended to all records. Due to a bug, a warning message is returned at completion of processing that states that the selected variables are of a non-numeric data type.

Workaround

  1. Using the Enrich Layer tool, append the variables from the Statistical Data Collection to the Input Layer, prior to creating the Suitability Analysis Layer.
  2. Create the Suitability Analysis Layer from the Enrich Layer output feature class.
  3. Use the Add Filed Based Suitability Criteria tool to select the variables, and add them as criteria to the Suitability Analysis layer.
