The 'Add items to group' sharing option is available to group owners and group managers only, as documented here https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/share-maps/share-items.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_0CF790E7414B48BEB0E69484A76D6A03.

Workaround

  • Change the member to a group manager.
  • Share items to the group by navigating directly to the item in the Content tab or in the item details page.
