The Add Data widget in Portal for ArcGIS Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS fails to upload a CSV file if it contains non-numerical values in Longitude and Latitude columns, although it works in ArcGIS Online.

Workaround

  • Remove non-numerical entries from the CSV file for Latitude and Longitude fields before uploading.
