Workaround

Create a new item, which points to the uploaded ZIP file, and have the gallery point to this item instead. 1. From My Content, click Add Item > From the Web > Document. 2. For the URL, copy and paste the URL to the uploaded ZIP file. 3. Share this new item with the home page gallery group and unshare the currently shared ZIP file.
