The 64-bit version of the isapi_redirector.dll for Tomcat Connector ISAPI Redirector does not work on Windows 64-bit Operating System with Intel Xeon processor. The Jakarta ISAPI Filter does not start.

Additional Information

Isapi_redirector.dll Version 1.2.27 (ent64) should be used when running IIS/TC on a 64-bit OS with an Intel Xeon processor.

Workaround

When using the newer version of the ISAPI .dll file (1.2.27) it is still required that IIS be run in 32 bit mode and the 32 bit .dll be used as Tomcat 5.5.17 and the 64 bit ISAPI .dll file does not work with IIS in 64 bit mode.
