Additional Information

An error is being encountered because the user does not have full permissions to C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\MaritimeCharting\Desktop10.6\ArcToolbox\Toolboxes. If the user grants full permissions to C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\MaritimeCharting\Desktop10.6\ArcToolbox\Toolboxes or to C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS, then the script executes successfully. However, the Mapping and Charting Solutions Team does not recommend creating scripts or data in the install location for Mapping and Charting Solutions. The uninstall or upgrade of the software may remove custom scripts or data. It is recommended that custom scripts and data be located in a network location that all users have access to or in a location locally on the machine where the user has access.

Workaround

Create the custom toolbox and script in any other folder.
