Additional Information

If a label has extra space characters (i.e. more than one space between words, or one or more spaces at the start or end of a row of text), then the label has a more complex shape than the usual word-space-word format. This is made more complex if the space character is an optional or forced stacking separator; or a visible separator. These more complex forms have to use simpler, more generalized drawing of marker backgrounds i.e. aligned to the horizontal and vertical axes of the map, rather than fitting the label more closely. If the map is then rotated, the marker background rotates with it. In a future release, we plan to enhance drawing of these backgrounds to fit a wider range of complex labels.
