Text datatype field with hyperlink values is displayed as BLOB datatype when viewing a table created on SQL Server from OLE DB connection on any ArcGIS client application.

Workaround

Set the data type of the field storing hyperlink information as nvarchar(100), nvarchar(500), or nvarchar(4000) specifying the field length instead of nvarchar(max).
