The Purpose parameter does not need to be modified for Story Map or other configurable applications. This setting is designed for use only when users are creating a custom template which other users would use to create separate apps. Changing the Purpose setting to Self Configurable restores the Configure App button.Workaround
Story Maps can also be edited by clicking the View Application button and followed by clicking the Edit button (which displays for users who own the Story Map apps being viewed).Steps to Reproduce
