Bug
Switching an installation from SU to CU or vice versa, spawning a repair, or modifying from the installation DVD after installing 9.2 Service Pack 1, produces an error that prompts an uninstall.

Description
When performing a modify or repair installation from the ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 installation disk, the following error message is displayed:"ArcGIS Desktop Version 9.2.1332 is already installed. You must uninstall the existing version before installing ArcGIS Desktop Version 9.2.1324. Do you want to uninstall the existing version of ArcGIS Desktop?"
Cause
This is a known issue that occurs after installing ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 Service Pack 1.Workaround
Perform the modify install or repair from Add/Remove programs.- Insert the ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 installation disk and exit the autorun display by clicking 'Exit disk'.
- Navigate to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
- Select ArcGIS Desktop and click the Change button. Perform the modify, install or repair as normal.
