Additional Information
Localized strings are not supported in model name and batch geoprocessing tools since Unicode characters are not accepted by the ArcGIS API for Python, which is used in this case. The localized strings can be used in the model label. This is by design.Workaround
Save the ModelBuilder and the batch geoprocessing tools with an ISO Latin basic alphabet letter before, after, or within the Japanese characters.
In the ModelBuilder metadata, in the Syntax section, only the ISO Latin basic alphabet letter is shown.
