Sorting a serial chart in ArcGIS Dashboards using a string field category created from a data expression no longer sorts as expected on charts with categories from grouped values after the June 2024 ArcGIS Online release.

Additional Information
This is fixed with the ArcGIS Online November 2024 release. Date values stored as strings will be sorted as strings. Authors may need to convert these strings into date fields to sort by date.Workaround
Return the date strings as actual date values in the data expression and configure a time series chart to guarantee a logical sort order.
