Additional Information

Unable to reproduced with the latest versions of ArcGIS Pro.

Workaround

Two Potential Workarounds:

1. Make a new field in the attribute table of the hosted feature layer. Then, use the Field Calculator to copy the attributes from the field with the domain to the newly made field. This copies the codes of the domains to the new field. The table should now able to be sorted by the new field and scrolled throughout the table without it crashing. However, the copied codes are the numeric codes assigned in the domains and do not read as the word options such as 'windy', etc.

2. Use the Sort (Data Management) (https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/sort.htm) tool in ArcGIS Pro. The tool transferres the dataset's domains to an output dataset. The field with the domain assigned was indicated as the Sort Field and 'Ascending' was indicated as the Sort Method. This created a new dataset with the points already sorted with the domain field in ascending order. However, all the attributes were changed to the numeric codes of the domains they were originally assigned.
