Some GPS metadata fields (receiver name, reference station ID, and position accuracy) are not populating in a survey form when using mock locations from an Eos Arrow receiver on an Android device.

Workaround

The GPS metadata fields populate in the survey form correctly if the receiver is added as a location provider directly in ArcGIS Survey123 instead of using mock locations. Refer to the instructions below:

  1. Disconnect from the receiver in Eos Tools Pro and force close the app (the Android device and the Eos Arrow receiver will still need to be paired via Bluetooth).
  2. Open Survey123, press the satellite icon to open the Location Status menu, click the gear icon to open Location Settings, and click 'Add location provider'.
  3. Click Bluetooth, and select the Eos Arrow receiver from the list.
