Include a token with a request to a secured service over SOAP. If a token is not included, a http 499 token required error is returned. More is documented here. http://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/server/latest/administer/windows/accessing-arcgis-token-secured-web-services.htm SOAP-based applications: Applications that use a SOAP toolkit to access the Web Service Description Language (WSDL) of the GIS web service need to acquire and use tokens explicitly. See the ArcGIS Server Developer Help for information and examples.
