Additional Information

This is expected behavior. When exporting the data from Site Scan for ArcGIS, bringing it into ArcGIS Pro, and sharing it from ArcGIS Pro, the result was the same. ArcGIS Online uses WGS84 Web Mercator projection. In order for data to align with the ArcGIS Online basemap, portal data must be transformed to this spatial reference. Whether data is being published from Site Scan for ArcGIS or from ArcGIS Pro, the result is the same. To work with the data in its native spatial reference, use ArcGIS Pro.

Workaround

To correctly get the data as Amersfoort/RD New in ArcGIS Online, it is not accurate from the Site Scan Manager for ArcGIS due to this behavior. An additional step is required:

  • Export the data to the computer and share it through ArcGIS Pro.

This does not work for the 3D mesh, only for the True Ortho. The 3D mesh retains the wrong spatial reference even if downloaded this way.
