Workaround
Three workarounds are available for this software defect, using ArcInfo Workstation. TICS can be added to an existing coverage in ArcInfo Workstation, using ArcEdit. If TIC features already exist in the coverage, but the values need to be changed, the UPDATE command can be used in ArcInfo TABLES to change the tic coordinates. If the required TIC features, with the proper coordinates, exist in another coverage, the GET command can also be used in ArcEdit to copy the tics from the existing coverage into the coverage in which they are needed.
