This is a duplicate of NIM052892. The issue described is one scenario for the issue described in NIM052892.Workaround
1. Use ArcMap to reset the individual data source for each layer. 2. In ArcCatalog’s ‘set data source’ dialogue box, select the new data path individually for each layer by clicking on each layer and browsing to the new data source path of the ‘viewer’ connection. 3. Using a two step method: a. First, resource the mxds to an ‘editor’ user connection. b. Then, resource the mxds to a ‘viewer’ connection.Steps to Reproduce
