Service fails to start (map or image) when the service contains a mosaic dataset published using the disconnected publishing method and the data resides in a file geodatabase where the raster paths are local paths.

Additional Information

This issue is no longer reproducible on ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1.

Workaround

  • Create the mosaic dataset in an enterprise geodatabase. This issue is specific to file geodatabase mosaic datasets.
  • Create the mosaic dataset in a file geodatabase using UNC paths for the source rasters.
