Additional Information

The z spatial references do not match, this error is raised using 10.0 SP4.

Workaround

Workarounds:1. Create an empty feature class, containing a z-value coordinate system, and load data from the CAD .dwg. Or-2. Create an empty feature class, containing a z-value coordinate system-->add the empty feature class and the CAD layer to ArcMap-->start an edit session with the empty feature class as the target-->select the CAD features wanted--> with the edit tool right click on the data display (data frame view), select copy and then select paste.3. Export the selected CAD data as a feature class or shapefile; not into a feature dataset.
