Workaround
There are many ways to overcome this limitation.1) The analysis sub layers can be exported to feature classes from the ArcMap Table of Contents (Right-click a sublayer Data>>Export Data) by adding the .lyr file to ArcMap and can be used in subsequent workflows2)The .lyr file can be added to ArcMap and then used as in-memory composite layer3) The .lyr file can be preprocessed using some of the GP tools on Network Analyst Toolbox. For example, .lyr file can be used as an input to AddFieldToAnalysisLayer, AddLocations or Solve tool and the output can be used for further workflows
