Search does not work in the ArcGIS Instant Apps Basic template created from Map Viewer.

Workaround

• Use the same map. On the Home or Content page, click Create App, click Configurable App, click Basic app template, click Launch, and search for an address.
  • Note: The search works as expected using this step when clicking Instant Apps.
• In an app created from Map Viewer, toggle the search options in the Instant Apps setup panel to All Locators, and back to Default Locator.
