'sdetable -o update_dbms_stats' does not maintain the ST_GEOMETRY_INDEX table for ST_GEOMETRY featureclasses that are not registered as versioned. 'sdetable -o update_dbms_stats' does not update statistics (NUM_ROWS) for A tables correctly for versioned ST_GEOMETRY tables.
