Workaround

If we set the 'Same as Display' Environment Setting for extent first and then add the input raster image then the extent is honored in Raster Clip tool.1.Add the image to Arc Map.2.Zoom into the area that you want to clip.3. In Arc Toolbox --> Go to Data Management Tools -->Raster -->Clip4.Click on Environments -->General settings -->Go to Extent -->Select ‘Same as Display’.5.It shows the display extents --> Click Ok.6.Then browse for the input raster dataset once you select the input raster dataset output extents will automatically taken from the display and specify the output raster dataset --> Click Ok7.The extent is honored and it will clip the input raster dataset to the display extents. For 9.3:1. Zoom to needed area. 2. Open the Raster Clip tool.3. In the tool Environment settings, choose "Same as Display" for the Extent setting. Take note of the extent coordinates.4. Click OK on the Environment Settings dialog. Notice that the extent coordinates on the tool now match the display extent.5. Add the input data. Notice that the coordinates of the input data now replace the same as display extent coordinates.6. Set the optional extent in the tool to the input data layer.7. Click the Clear button and the extent coordinates now reset to the same as display coordinates.
