Running the Segment Mean Shift tool from the Spatial Analyst Toolbox returns the Error 99999 but still produces an output in the geodatabase.

Workaround

The workaround is to extract the individual bands and perform the Segement Mean Shift individually.

To Extract the bands:

1. Go to Imagery in the top ribbon.
2. Click Raster Functions >Data Management > Extract Bands.

To perform Segment Mean Shift:

1. Click Raster Functions > Classification.
2. Click the Segment Mean Shift Properties tool.
