Running the Hillshade (Spatial Analyst) geoprocessing tool as an ArcGIS GIS Server geoprocessing service fails when the tool is run on a floating point raster dataset larger than 10MB.

Additional Information

The App Server Heap and SOC heap size need to be increased per: http://server.arcgis.com/en/server/latest/publish-services/linux/geoprocessing-service-settings-advanced.htm#GUID-17815A98-2756-486F-AC2D-22672E0FCA28 A value of 600MB on each permitted this particular raster to work.
