Running the 'Extract by Mask’ tool with the Compression parameter set to JPEG or JPEG2000 fails and returns the error message, "Error during conversion."

This issue is addressed in ArcGIS Pro 3.5.Workaround
Before running the 'Extract by Mask' tool, convert the input mask features to a raster using the default LZ77 lossless compression. When using the 'Extract by Mask' tool with lossy compression (JPEG or JPEG2000), specify the converted raster layer as the input mask rather than the feature layer.
