Additional Information

The issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro versions 3.1 and beyond, and the rewritten code in this version cannot be backported to the ArcGIS Pro 2.x series.

Workaround

Run the Delete Identical geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS Pro 3.1.1.
