Additional Information

There is no direct correlation between the number of the vertex in the input and output Buffer. Refer to the following link, https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/analysis/how-buffer-analysis-works.htm, on how offsets are determined during the buffer operation. Input curve segments are densified prior to the buffer operation, so additional offsets are generated. Output buffers have curve segments around sharp intersections in boundary segments of the input, so there is a start vertex and end vertex to those curve segments. Refer to the tools in the following links to see if their outputs are more suitable for the desired result: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/analysis/pairwise-buffer.htm and https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/analysis/graphic-buffer.htm.
