Registering a database from the ArcGIS Server Manager page freezes when web-tier authentication is configured with users and roles from an existing enterprise system on the stand-alone ArcGIS Server version 10.7.1.

Additional Information

Per the given steps to reproduce, the behavior described in this issue does not occur in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1. As ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 is no longer supported, this is not addressed.

Workaround

  1. Connect to ArcGIS Server over the 6443 URL from ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro.
  2. Register the database.
