Additional Information

The issue is not reproducible. If experiencing this behavior, please reach out to Esri Support Services as a new reproduction case is needed to continue the investigation.

Workaround

  1. Upgrading to ArcGIS Enterprise11.2, as referenced layers from this version does not give the issue.
  2. When the data is published as a hosted feature to the ArcGIS server (ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 and ArcGIS Enterprise 11.0), the date field works as expected.
  3. This is also not reproducible when the data is published as a referenced layer to ArcGIS Server and brought into ArcGIS Online as a hosted item: New Item > Feature Layer > Provide ArcGIS Server layer URL. This process adds the ArcGIS Server service as an item hosted in ArcGIS Online, so changes will not be reflected in the local data. This was the only method to get the date field to work in ArcGIS Experience Builder when using the referenced ArcGIS Server layer.
