Referenced feature service with unique value symbology displays coded values from a removed domain instead of the original values

Workaround

1. In ArcGIS Pro, remove the domain from the field or feature class.
2. Right-click the layer, select Symbology.
3. In the Symbology pane, from the Primary symbology drop-down menu, select Single Symbology.
4. Navigate to the Share ribbon tab, in the Share As group, click the Web Layer drop-down menu and select Overwrite Web Layer.
5. In Map Viewer, the new service has no domain values any longer. However it is a different symbology.
6. In ArcGIS Pro, right-click the layer, select Symbology.
7. In the Symbology pane, from the Primary symbology drop-down menu, select Unique Values.
8. Navigate to the Share ribbon tab, in the Share As group, click the Web Layer drop-down menu and select Overwrite Web Layer.

No domain values display.
