Workaround

-User ArcGIS for Server 10.1To get a colorized aspect, follow these steps:1. Use ArcGIS Desktop to author a raster function template by chaining aspect and colormap functions. Users may use the image analysis window to chain them together and export as template; or using the raster function template editor (customize -- command) directly. Say its name is "MyColorizedAspect".2. Publish image service, and configure it with the raster function template 3. Invoke the function template through REST { "rasterFunction" : "MyColorizedAspect"}
