Questions with a calculation and a default value do not show the default value when the calculation is empty in the ArcGIS Survey123 web designer.

The calculation is also executed when the form is initialized. The calculation result overwrites the default value.Workaround
Update the form in ArcGIS Survey123 Connect. Use if (${question_a}='', '0', ...) to fill in the target question with 0 when the source question is empty.
