Additional Information

The form presented as designed will not accomplish what the user wants. There are the following issues preventing the behavior desired: - The question using the join() function should be outside of the repeat to work properly (create a consistent value while repeats are navigated in the form). - The repeat section is not configured to load the previous entries into the form. This will cause the substr() function to not be tied to changes to the join function as the join function results will differ from the value loaded (when the value loaded via the Inbox differs from what is calculated when the form loads, the existing value is preserved and the calculation is disconnected). The previous repeats can be configured to load by specifying the query keyword in the bind::esri:parameters column for the 'begin repeat' entry.
