Additional Information

This issue is addressed in ArcGIS Pro 3.4 and 3.3.2.

Workaround

ArcGIS Pro 3.2.3:

  1. In the Contents pane, click the red exclamation point, which opens the Edit Query Layer window.
  2. Reselect the connection, and fill in the checkbox for 'List of Tables'.
  3. Revalidate the Query.
  4. Reselect the Unique Identifier and the spatial reference information.
  5. Click Finish.
  6. The data source is then rebuilt successfully.

ArcGIS Pro 3.3.1

  • The workaround does not work in this version.
  • After finishing the Query Layer, the layer is not added to the catalog pane or the map. There is no error message either.
  • Redo the workflow entirely.
    • Delete the existing database connection, create a new database connection, and create a new Query Layer from scratch.
