The development team has considered the issue and concluded it will not be addressed. If this is still a concern, contact Esri Support Services.Workaround
Publish the symbol set as a web style to use it in ArcGIS Pro or in the new ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, and leverage the shape marker or vector symbols.
Note: Map Viewer Classic does not support vector symbols.
